History & Highlights
February 2005 - The Daryl Williams Trio's first project for Sonlite Records is released, titled "Music In The Air".

January 2005 - The trio makes it's first appearance on TCT with host, Gary McSpadden.

November 2004 - Daryl is nominated for a Gospel Harmony Award as Songwriter of the Year.

October 2004 - The group appears for the first time on the Gospel Jubilee at Dollywood.

September 2004 - Daryl is honored at the Kentucky Governor's Mansion by Crossroads Music Group for writing the Talley Trio's #1 song, "Jesus Saves."

September 2004 - The group makes it's first appearance on GMT's World Premier.

May 2004 - Daryl Williams Trio enters a long-term recording agreement with Sonlite Records.

April 2004 - Daryl's song "Jesus Saves", recorded by the Talley Trio, reaches the #1 spot on the Singing News Top 40 chart. The song remained #1 for the month of May.

July 2003 - Daryl sings with the Speer Family on a tribute to Dottie Rambo at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville TN.

April 2003 - Daryl's song "Faith Like That" is nominated for a Dove award as Bluegrass Song of the Year.

April 2002 - The trio makes it's first main stage appearance on the NQC's Great Western Quartet Convention.

April 2002 - Daryl's song "Joy's Gonna Come In The Morning" receives a BMI award for being one of the five most played Southern Gospel songs of the year.

April 2002 - Daryl's song "I'm Not Waiting On The Water" recorded by the Cumberland Quartet, reaches the #1 position in Christian Music Perspective Magazine.

January 2002 - The group appears for their first time on Cornerstone Television Telethon in Pennsylvania.

September 2001 - The trio receives an overwhelming response to Daryl's song "Oh Say Can You See", from a packed house at the National Quartet Convention, on the afternoon of September 11, 2001.

September 2001 - Daryl's song "Joy's Gonna Come In The Morning", recorded by the Kingsmen reaches the #1 position in Christian Music Perspective magazine.

April 2000 - Bill Gaither invites the Daryl Williams Trio to sing Daryl's song, "Freedom Band", on his new video and television special. He also chooses "Freedom Band" as the title of the new video.

October 1999 - Daryl Williams Trio becomes a regular featured artist on TBN's Unfolding Majesty program, with hosts Dean and Mary Brown.

February 1998 - The Daryl Williams Trio is featured for the first time on the Gaither Homecoming Tour.

April 1997 -The group is featured for the first time on the Gaither Homecoming Video and TNN special singing "Mountain, Get Out Of My Way."

April 1997 - Bill Gaither uses Daryl's song "Singing With The Saints" for the title of his new video and TNN special.

June 1996 -The trio performs for the NASCAR Driver's Chapel Service at Talladega.

September 1995 - Daryl is nominated by the Southern Gospel Songwriters Association for Songwriter of the Year.

May 1995 - The Daryl Williams Trio makes their first appearance on TBN's Praise The Lord program with hosts Dean and Mary Brown.

April 1995 - Daryl Williams Trio signs a recording contract with Homeland Records.

February 1995 - The Daryl Williams Trio is formed and makes their first appearance in Gainesville Georgia.
